Yearly Water Savings:
45.000 liter | 12,000 gallons

In January 2020, Marc ter Kuile learned that Hydraloop was named the best product among 20,000+ electronics at CES, the world’s biggest tech exhibition in Las Vegas. This piqued his interest, especially after seeing Time magazine call it a ‘no brainer of an invention’ and its feature in the Netflix documentary ‘Brave Blue World’. As Marc and his wife Suzanne Hillen were planning to build a four-bedroom ecohouse in Sussex, they decided to include water recycling in their new home, becoming one of the first clients in the UK to install a Hydraloop system. By autumn 2020, Marc and Suzanne had moved into their newly built ecohouse near East Grinstead in Sussex. They installed a Hydraloop H300 device, which recycles shower water for toilet flushing and laundry, saving them up to 45% on water and wastewater daily.

Shortly after installation, I received a call from Hydraloop informing me that one of my toilets was leaking. I was incredibly impressed by Hydraloop’s ability to detect a leak I would have otherwise never noticed! This saved me a lot of money and precious water. I think this is the future.
