Located in the heart of the Netherlands, Kampeerbosje is a sustainable nature campsite owned by Ellen and Rob, who warmly welcome around 3,000 visitors each year. Guests can enjoy a mix of charming cabins and spacious camping spots, perfect for immersing themselves in nature.

Ellen and Rob’s commitment to sustainability is evident in their adoption of the innovative Hydraloop system. This cutting-edge technology collects and recycles greywater from the showers in the central sanitary block, repurposing it for toilet flushing. Thanks to this eco-friendly initiative, Kampeerbosje conserves over 40,000 liters (10,566 gallons) of water every camping season.

This dedication to responsible tourism and environmental stewardship earned Kampeerbosje the esteemed Gouden Haring award from De Groene Koepel, an organization devoted to promoting sustainable outdoor experiences. Ellen and Rob continue to inspire with their visionary approach to creating an environmentally conscious haven for nature lovers.
